GLASSES THICKNESS

How do I choose the right lens thickness ?

The lens thickness has an influence on the final weight and look of the glasses.

Various types of synthetic materials are used in the manufacturing of plastic lenses.

In general the higher level of thickness, the thinner the lens.

Standard lens thickness is suitable for a visual defect of up to ±2.00D.

Thinner glass with extra material thickness is suitable for a visual defect from ±2.00D to ±4.00D.

Extra thin glass with ultra material thickness is best suited to a visual defect from ±4.00D to ±6.00D.

Our ultra thin glass with is recommended for the minus range from -6.00D.

You can complete the customisation of you glasses by adding them to your “Basket”
